It's June. I have no time.

4:30 sunrise
23:31 sunset

June has been crazy busy so far.  My friend Steph is here from Ontario for a visit (although I don't plan on letting her leave) and I just wrapped up a successful Association of Canadian Archivists conference here in Whitehorse.  I have hardly had time to bike much less write about it.

This week I am taking a day off to perhaps head out to the Wildlife Preserve or maybe float down the Yukon River in a canoe.  This weekend is the Kluane-Chilkat International Bike Relay and there could be a hike over the Chilkoot pass in my future next week.

Aside from the weather (cool and rainy) June has been great.  Hang on for the second half!

Bike Twin

4:42 sunrise
23:15 sunset

Look what was parked at the college this week:

It's my bike twin!  I have never seen another Vitali frame, nevermind an exact copy of my Jemimah:

Aside from figuring out that my bike was sold by a local bike store (La Bicicletta) in Vancouver, sometime prior to 2001 and more likely sometime in the early 1990s, I wasn't able to learn much more from the Googleverse when I bought my bike in 2008.  My bike isn't the fanciest out there, but I do love her and she's so pretty!  The steel tubing (Columbus) is shiny and of course the campy parts aren't bad either.

I love that there are two of us here in Whitehorse!
